Details: Job: Food Services & Nutrition POSITION SUMMARY:Prepare cold items for the patient line in an appealing manner and within dietary requirements for a given patient. Assist with assembling patient trays quickly and accurately. Prepares and delivers patient late trays and nourishments as ordered.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Prepare cold foods for the patient menu in an appetizing and palatable manner, and within the guidelines of the intended diets.2. Assist with the assembly of patient trays with close attention being given to accuracy and appearance.3. Prepare and deliver late trays accurately and within thirty minutes of the order being submitted.4. Gather nourishments for the nursing units before the breakfast line and as ordered.5. Clean and sanitize food carts after the supper meal.6. Apply sound food safety principles at all times.7. Maintain work area in a clean and sanitary manner, free of debris and clutter, and in compliance with applicable health regulations.8. Regular, punctual and dependable attendance.9. Other duties as assigned.
